The Le Bignele winery has been owned by the Aldrighetti family since 1818. It is still run by the members of this very simpatico family. They make very high-quality wines and welcome guests for tours and tastings in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico region.
Traditionally made, authentic Amarones like this one are known as "meditation wines" in Italy, meant to be sipped and savoured while contemplating meaningful thoughts. But it is also one of the local wines of the Veneto region, a delicious partner of local dishes like hare cooked in wine and carrots together with polenta, as suggested by the Aldrighetti family.
