Grape Variety: 100% Aragonez.
Origin: Portalegre district, Alto Alentejo, Portugal.
Ageing: In American oak barriques.
Alcohol: 14.5%.
Tasting Notes: Intense dark red color. Aromas of ripe dark cherries and fresh blackberries. Smooth and rich tannins with a well-balanced acidity structure on the palate. Long, spicy, fruity finish.
Food Pairing: Grilled or roasted red meats such as lamb, beef or pork, sausages, hamburgers, pastas with red sauces, spicy dishes; also great with soft cheeses.
Serving Temperature: 16° to 18°C.
